While falling through the air, Dagger recalls how she ended up in that situation. Trying to capture Mister Jip, she and Cloak remembered that Day had been seriously hurt so they had checked out local medical facilities until they discovered that a private hospital plane had been rented that morning. Cloak teleported both of them onto the plane just after it took off. Once aboard, they found Day with a nurse and another man who revealed himself to be Mister Jip. As Cloak immediately attacked Jip, the harmless-looking nurse that he and Dagger had overlooked turned out to be Night who grabbed Dagger and threw her out of the plane, knowing that this would prompt Cloak to jump out and follow her in an attempt to save her. When Cloak’s initial teleport jumps were too far away, Dagger tried to calm herself down by thinking of her home in Cleveland.
